Bins and crates that protect the crop, not just carry it

Vented bulk bins, field bins and ventilated harvest crates engineered for Australian growers and packers. Food-grade airflow that sheds field heat and beats rot, stack-and-nest handling that survives the harvest peak, and the same units season after season. Quote-only, delivered to the farm gate.

Airflow is the whole job

A potato or onion does not stop living when it leaves the ground — it keeps respiring, giving off heat, moisture and carbon dioxide. Pack that into a solid-walled box and you trap exactly what spoils the crop. Our vented bins and crates are designed around that physics: open mesh walls and bases move air through the whole stack so the produce dries down, holds condition and stores longer.

Built for the season, washed for the next

Harvest is unforgiving on handling gear. Food-grade HDPE bins shrug off knocks, won't splinter or rot like timber, and hot-wash clean between loads for HACCP-aligned packing. Empty, they nest or column-stack to give you your shed and yard space back; loaded, they stack square for cold-store and transport.

Common questions

Why do potatoes and onions need vented bulk bins?

Root vegetables keep respiring after harvest, giving off heat, moisture and CO₂. Vented bulk bins let that airflow move through the stack so the crop sheds field heat, stays dry and resists rot and sprouting in storage — solid-walled bins trap heat and shorten shelf life.

Are your produce bins and crates food-grade?

Yes. Our produce range is moulded from food-grade HDPE and polypropylene, with smooth surfaces and open bases designed for hot-wash and sanitising between loads — important for HACCP-aligned packing operations.

Can plastic bulk bins handle a full harvest peak?

They are built for it. Plastic field and bulk bins nest or stack when empty to save yard space, then stack loaded for cold-store and transport. Unlike timber they will not splinter, harbour pathogens or absorb moisture, and they last many seasons.
